Hotel on Olive boasts 60 recently renovated rooms in a key location in Albury, only a few minutes walk to the town centre. The six storey property is a popular business provider but also has family rooms and suites to cater for the various weekend events that come to Albury. The restaurant is quite popular with locals as well as guests.
When purchased, the property had the street appeal of a public toilet. We undertook an extensive renovation (~$1.25m) involving a complete rendering and external lighting of the building, new lobby, finalised the rooms renovations and switched branding to become the Mercure Albury. This renovation disrupted trading for around 6 months but we were rewarded with an uplift in sales and profitability.
